GUIDELINES FOR WRITING SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES

General Instructions

EDUCATIONAL RESEARCHER JOURNAL publishes scientific articles on topics relevant to the fields of education and culture, especially in the areas of education management, education evaluation, education policy, educational technology, curricula, learning and teaching, learning innovation, and culture related to education. Articles proposed for publication in the Journal must be original works that have not been published in any other scientific journals. The article is written in English using proper and correct writing conventions.

The article is written in the form of a manuscript in MS Word with A4 page size (210 x 297 mm) with a left margin of 25 mm, top margin of 30 mm, right margin of 20 mm, and bottom margin of 20 mm. The article is written in a single-column format with the simplest possible text layout. It is recommended to only use the writing facilities provided in MS Word (bold, italics, subscript, superscript, equation, etc.) and not to use other facilities that are not available in MS Word (embedded graphic design, embedded symbols, embedded equations, etc.). All sections of the text in the manuscript are written using the Times New Roman 12 pt font and double spacing.

Special Instructions

The manuscript begins with the Title, Author's Name, Author's Address, Abstract, and Keywords, followed by the main sections consisting of Introduction, Research Method (Model Development), Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments, List of Notations (if any), References, and Appendices (Figures and Tables). In manuscript writing, figures and tables are not presented together with the text in the main body, but in the Appendix, each accompanied by a sequential number and the name of the figure and table. The figure number and name are written at the bottom of the figure, while the table number and name are written at the top of the table. Please ensure that the quality and size of the images presented are large enough to produce good print quality (one page for one image). Please do not frame the images. This will make it easier for the editorial team to edit and format the text later.

1. Title, Author's Name, Author's Address, Corresponding Author

a. The article title is written concisely but informatively. It is recommended not to use abbreviations and formulas that are not widely recognized.

b. The names of all authors are written under the article title in full but without titles. At the end of each name, a superscript letter is added to identify the author's address. In addition, it is also necessary to identify the author responsible for correspondence.

c. The authors' addresses are written below all the authors' names, preceded by the corresponding superscript letters for each author's name.

d. The correspondence address is written in the footnote section on the page containing the author's name. The address must include a complete and clear postal address. In addition, it should also include an email address, telephone number, and fax number.

2. Abstract and Keywords

a. The abstract is written concisely; it contains the purpose/goal, results, and conclusions that are intended to be highlighted. The length of the abstract is around 150-200 words. Abstracts are advised not to contain abbreviations or formulas that are not widely recognized.

b. Directly below the abstract text, write 6 (six) selected relevant keywords, each separated by a comma (,).

c. The abstract and keywords are written in two languages, namely Indonesian and English.

3. Introduction

In the introduction section, the background of the research/writing is presented, along with a brief literature review that explains the state of the art of the research and the objectives of the research/writing.

4. Research Method

In this section, the materials used in the research are presented. It is necessary to provide a detailed description of the research methods used to ensure that the obtained results can be repeated or reproduced. If the submitted manuscript is a model development, then a description of the proposed model and how the model is evaluated/used needs to be provided.

5. Results and Discussion

In this section, the research results (model development) obtained systematically and constructively are presented, accompanied by a comprehensive discussion that supports the research objectives and strengthens the conclusions. Although the research results are presented in the form of tables or figures, the tables or figures in question are not inserted within the text but are attached in the appendix section. In the text, it is sufficient to mention the number and/or name of the table or figure being discussed.

6. Conclusion

In this section, the main conclusions from the obtained results are briefly presented.

7. List of Notations (if any)

The List of Notations is written in alphabetical order. Latin letter notation (Greek) is written in order before alphabetic letter notation.

• Two authors: both last names of the authors and year of publication;

• Three or more authors: last name of the first author followed by et al. and year of publication. References can be written directly in the text or in parentheses ( ). If there are multiple sources, the order of writing is based on alphabetical order and then by publication year. Example: ".... as revealed in previous research (Allan, 1996a, 1996b, 1999; Allan and Jones, 1995)." Kramer et al. (2000) recently stated that ......

b. References in the Bibliography The bibliography is arranged in alphabetical order by the author's last name and date (if necessary). If there are multiple works by the same author for different years, an alphabetical index "a," "b," "c," etc., should be given after the publication year. Example: • References in the form of magazines/scientific journals/proceedings: Capek, P., Hejtmanek, V., Solcova, O., Klusacek, K. and Schneider, P., 1997. Transport gas dalam media berpori dalam kondisi dinamis, Catalysis Today 38, 31-38.

• Reference in the form of a book: Strunk Jr., W., White, E.B., 1979. The Elements of Style, edisi ketiga. Macmillan, New York.
